Maria Glinatsi is an associate attorney at Carey Leisure and Neal. Prior to joining the firm, Maria assisted disabled individuals in obtaining Social Security Disability benefits. This experience allowed her to gain valuable insights into the relationship between medical injuries and the law. In addition, Maria was able to hone her advocacy skills by leading and participating in numerous administrative hearings.
Maria received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Florida. She graduated from Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, Maria was a legal intern at the Legal Services Center of FIU. During this time she represented clients in a number of health-related areas. Additionally, Maria also worked with Florida Legal Services and Young Invincibles to support healthcare expansion in Florida.
Maria was born and raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Consequently, she is an active member of the community. Maria is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs. In partnership with the Rotary Club, she frequently works with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club. In addition, she is a board member for the St. Nicholas Greek School and a committee member for the annual Epiphany Celebration in Tarpon Springs.
In her free time, Maria enjoys spoiling her twin nephews, traveling to new places, and reading (anything and everything from Hobbes to Harry Potter).
